Infiniti Expands Sponsorship of 'Colbert Report'

Infiniti has upped its commitment to Comedy Central’s The Colbert Report, signing on as sponsor of a new sweepstakes and online interactive-voting application.

Beginning Nov. 24, Infiniti will throw its promotional weight behind ColbertNation.com's "The Choice of the People" app, which allows site visitors to vote on their favorite moments from the show. Once a site visitor votes in the poll, they receive a link that sends them to a new page where they can watch video related to their vote.

The car maker will be attached to on-air custom vignettes incorporating the most popular Colbert snippets.

In addition, Infiniti will sponsor the show's first-ever sweepstakes, offering Colbert fans a prize package that includes a weekend trip to New York and tickets to a taping of the show.
