Euro RSCG Combines Ops in U.K.

Havas' Euro RSCG, notably active of late in terms of acquisitions and alignments, said its London office and a sibling U.K.-based operation, Biss Lancaster, are merging under a single P&L.

The combined company will now be called Euro RSCG London PR, and the move is being undertaken to unite traditional PR with channel strategy and digital, thus avoiding fragmentation and addressing client demands for genuine service integration.

The firms already share key clients including Peugeot, Reckitt Benckiser and AWI (Australian Wool Innovation).

Russ Lidstone, CEO of Euro RSCG London, will lead the merged agency with Graham Lancaster continuing as chairman of Euro RSCG London PR and Holly Ward as managing director.

"We're listening to our clients and putting conversational media at the center of our offering," said Lidstone (pictured above).

As part of the integration the Manchester and Edinburgh offices of Biss Lancaster will be re-branded Euro RSCG Manchester PR and Edinburgh PR respectively. Both are led by managing director Brian Beech.
