ATLANTA Six agencies have advanced in the review of Cellular South’s $8-12 million account, sources said.

The contenders are: independents WestWayne in Atlanta, archer>malmo in Memphis, Tenn., and Cramer-Krasselt in Chicago; Interpublic Group’s Mullen in Winston-Salem, N.C.; Havas’ Arnold in McLean, Va., and MDC Partners’s Crispin Porter + Boguski, Miami, according to sources.

Some agencies are presenting this week at the client’s headquarters in Jackson, Miss., according to sources. The company is expected to make a cut to four finalists in the first week in January.
