NEW YORK After seven decades of forecasting the advertising business, Robert Coen, 86, is stepping down. Assuming Coen’s role is Brian Wieser, who was named global director of forecasting, Magna, a division of IPG’s Mediabrands.
Building on Coen’s forecasting legacy, Wieser (pictured), CFA and svp of Magna, will provide forecasting and strategic advisory services on a global basis, helping Mediabrands’ global clients drive return on media investment, cost savings and revenue generation.
Coen will continue to play a key role at Magna as lead advisor.
“Brian has been operating in the emerging space for Magna for quite some time, during which he has built a solid reputation for accuracy while creating high demand for his forecasting work,” said Elizabeth Herbst-Brady, president of Magna.
