Berenter in N.Y. Wins Petro Account Following Review

NEW YORK-Petroleum Heat & Power Co. in Stamford, Conn., has assigned its $1-2 million advertising account to Berenter Greenhouse & Webster in New York.
Grybauskas Beatrice, also in New York, was the runner-up in a review for the client's creative and media duties.
Incumbent Corporate Branding Partnership in Stamford, Conn., was not invited to pitch.
The client, best known as Petro, is looking to Berenter Greenhouse for a new brand direction to debut in a print and broadcast campaign. The new effort will run in nine Northeastern states including New York and Massachusetts, said Allen Levenson, vice president of marketing at Petro. -David Gianatasio and Teresa Andreoli
