Fiscally Troubled Rail Service Plans to Consolidate Roster
NEW YORK–Amtrak has begun “laying the groundwork” for its ad account to go into review within the next few months, sources said, estimating that billings could exceed $35 million.
Carmen Walsh, Amtrak’s senior director of marketing, said a review would likely be conducted early next year. “We were going to try to consolidate [sooner], but we’ve put it on hold.”
