The Art Directors Club has awarded its first ADC Black Cube for best in show to TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris in Johannesburg, South Africa, for its “Trillion Dollar Campaign” supporting the Zimbabwean newspaper.
 
The presentation was made at the ADC 89th annual awards gala, held last night at the SVA Theatre at the School of Visual Arts in New York.
 
Other key winners at the show were:
 
• Agency of the Year: BBDO New York
 
• Network of the Year: Y&R
 
• Interactive Agency of the Year: Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, San Francisco
 
• Design Team of the Year: The New York Times Magazine
 
• School of the Year (tie): School of Visual Arts, New York and Miami Ad School
 
Winning two ADC gold cubes each were Goodby, Wieden + Kennedy, Nike (for work by W+K), Colgate, Take Them Out (via the Miami Ad School Europe) and The New York Times Magazine.
