BOSTON Car-care giant Aamco — whose ads are well known for featuring the sharp toots of a horn — has selected Qorvis as its lead agency following a review.

Qorvis, an independent communications firm in Washington, D.C., will now handle all creative development including TV, radio, interactive and public relations.

Jack Bachinsky, vp, marketing at Aamco, said Qorvis was chosen based on its integrated approach to marketing. Other contenders in the review were not disclosed.

The shop’s first major push for Aamco will take the form of a $20 million campaign slated to break in April.
