3 Finalists Named To Vie for Trex's Branding Account

Synthetic lumber marketer Trex Co. in Winchester, Va., has selected three finalists in its agency review.
The Richards Group, Dallas; Campbell-Ewald Advertising, Warren, Mich.; and Carmichael Lynch, Minneapolis remain in the running for the $3-5 million account, said Judy Neer, an official at Pile and Co., Boston, which is overseeing the search process.
Eliminated from contention were Mullen, Wenham, Mass.; HBRA & Partners, New York; and Campbell Mithun Esty, Minneapolis. There is no incumbent.
The three finalists will make presentations in early September, with a decision expected shortly thereafter. The winning shop will create consumer campaigns to help establish the Trex brand. --David Gianatasi
