Figliulo Brings In Old Hands and Young Guns in Revamp Effort
CHICAGO–Assigned the task of revamping Young & Rubicam Chicago’s creative product, creative chief officer Mark Figliulo has brought in a dozen new faces to the department.
“He’s just infusing the place with a great big dose of young talent, which we definitely needed,” said Kary McIlwain, the shop’s managing director. Creative hiring had not previously been a priority at the agency, she said.
Figliulo was hired in November after a stint as a commercial director for Dark Light Pictures, West Hollywood, Calif.
