Wrangler Assigns Media, Creative To Trio of Agencies

Wrangler confirmed last week that it has hired CIA Medianetwork and Toth Brand Imaging as its media and mass market creative agencies, respectively.
The Greensboro, N.C., marketer also said that Two by Four of Chicago has been awarded creative duties for two smaller specialty apparel divisions: Wrangler Western wear and Wrangler rugged wear.
The announcement of CIA Medianetwork in Chicago and Toth Brand Imaging in Concord, Mass., was expected [Adweek, Nov. 1, 1999; Jan. 24, 2000], as the business was re-assigned piecemeal from The Martin Agency. The Richmond, Va., incumbent parted company with the client last April.
Wrangler’s advertising account is estimated to total $30 million.
