Lisa Witter, former managing director of Fenton Communications in San Francisco and a key strategist on the American Medical Association’s campaign to stop NBC from airing liquor ads, is relocating to New York as executive vice president and general manager of the firm’s New York, San Francisco and Washington, D.C., offices. Parker Blackman, the vice president who recently spearheaded media relations for the Evangelical Environmental Network’s “What Would Jesus Drive?” campaign and was lead strategist on the ad campaign linking SUVs to terrorism, will assume the San Francisco managing partner’s role.
