Turner Joins BrandBuzz as ECD

NEW YORK BrandBuzz, the multi-disciplinary boutique within the Young & Rubicam Brands division of WPP Group, has hired Graham Turner as executive creative director, a new post.

Most recently, Turner, 49, was a creative director at Havas-owned Euro RSCG in New York, where he worked on Reckitt Benckiser and MCI. Before that, he was ecd at New York brand consultancy Siegelgale.

During his 25-year career, Turner also has worked at Margeotes|Fertita + Partners, Ogilvy & Mather and the former TBWA (now TBWA\Chiat\Day), where he partnered with art director Geoff Hayes to develop the long-running bottle-centric campaign for Absolut vodka.

“My decision to come to BrandBuzz was an easy one,” said Turner, in a statement. “So many agencies are talking about the multi-discipline approach, but nobody’s actually doing it. BrandBuzz is built entirely on this premise.”

Turner, who started this week at the New York shop, reports to CEO Rick Eiserman, who took the reins in June after the exit of founder John Partilla.

BrandBuzz clients include Cadbury Schweppes (Sunkist, Diet Rite, Schweppes), Del Monte, LG mobile phones and Absolut Spirits Co. (Danzka, Plymouth Gin).
