Solidifying its transit advertising dominance in the greater Philadelphia area, Titan Worldwide announced Monday (Dec. 1) it had signed an exclusive contract with the Delaware River Port Authority to manage the out-of-home advertising for the Port Authority Transit Corp. The five-year deal with PATCO covers advertising across PATCO’s rail service and 13 stations between southern New Jersey and Philadelphia reaching 38,000 daily riders.
Titan won the five-year contract, which began last month, following an RFP process. PATCO’s advertising was formerly handled by CBS Outdoor.
As part of the contract Titan will offer various media formats including alternative brand cars, seat-back displays, station dominations, platform posters, banners and trestles, as well as interior and exterior car wraps and cards, options that were previously not available on PATCO.
The new contract is a good complement to Titan’s out-of-home advertising for the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA). “This contract rounds out the Philadelphia and New Jersey markets for Titan and puts us in a very strong position within the fourth-largest DMA,” said Don Allman, president and CEO for Titan.
