Taylor West Touts ‘Greater’ San Antonio

DALLAS Taylor West Advertising’s new $1 million campaign for the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce promotes the organization’s role in making the city a great place to do business, the shop said.

Six TV spots by the local shop break today and will run throughout the year in the greater San Antonio area. Celebrating the chamber of commerce’s 110th anniversary, the campaign features the testimonials of six actual business leaders who are also members of the organization.

The first spot opens with Amy Vogt, CEO of The Prestigious Mark, sitting at her desk. She says, “The Greater Chamber of Commerce has definitely helped my business. We attended a breakfast for the East Area Business Council where Toyota was speaking. We got into some big corporations just because we had a booth at one of the mixers. It’s just kept us very informed of what’s going on. Greater access leads to greater clients and greater clients leads to a better business.”

The five remaining spots follow a similar format with each board member discussing how the chamber has helped his or her individual business. Playing off the word “greater” in the organization’s title, each member also incorporates adjectives like “greater support, greater opportunities and greater leadership” into his or her testimonial.

The image campaign also includes radio, print and billboard elements. Print ads will run in the San Antonio Express-News and the San Antonio Business Journal, the shop said.
