Taxi Taps Doug Jaeger to Lead Innovation

Taxi New York has hired Doug Jaeger, most recently creative director of thehappycorp global, as innovation director.
Jaeger, the 33-year-old president of the Art Directors Club, will lead the agency’s digital practice.
“Doug is a perfect fit with Taxi’s offer of creativity without borders,” said Steve Mykolyn, chief creative officer of Taxi. “We’re all about solving the business problem in the most relevant way.”
Jaeger formed thehappycorp in 2003, earning a reputation for innovative uses of social media and brand activation with work for clients such as Apple, Bacardi, Procter & Gamble, Virgin, Brooklyn Brewery, VH1 and MoMA.
“I started thehappycorp to do the kind of work traditional agencies weren’t ready to do,” said Jaeger. “At Taxi, I’ve found the right environment with a philosophy, a process and a creative culture that will enable me to take what I’ve learned to the next level.”
Earlier in his career, Jaeger was a group creative director at TBWA\Chiat\Day in New York, where he worked on assignments such as the design and launch of, and a creative director at JWT, where his work included DeBeers’ design-your-own-engagement-ring site.
