Stewart Title Guaranty Awards Business To Houston’s Goswick

Goswick Advertising of Houston has defeated a number of undisclosed agencies to land the advertising account of Stewart Title Guaranty Co.
Houston-based Stewart offers title insurance policies and other real estate services for residential and commercial customers through 3,900 offices in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and other international markets.
Agency president and executive creative director David Goswick declined to disclose a budget for the new account. Goswick did say the account will be among the three largest at his agency. The shop last year posted billings of $52 million.
Real estate clients including The Woodlands, a Houston-area residential community, dominate the agency’s roster.
Marketing executives at Stewart Title Guaranty could not be reached at press time to discuss the review. The company did not previously employ an agency of record.
The agency’s initial assignment is the development of a branding campaign to increase Stewart’s national awareness in both business-to-business and consumer arenas.
“We’ve always pursued nontraditional ways to facilitate transactions,” Stewart president Malcolm Morris said in a statement . . . Our partnership with Goswick will assure us of an integrated marketing program.”
Goswick said the agency plans to create print advertising and possibly broadcast executions. It will also market the Stewart name in online and interactive venues and develop affinity marketing programs.
