Stan and Lou Details Trendmaker Touches

DALLAS Stan and Lou Advertising has launched a regional outdoor campaign for Trendmaker Homes, the agency said.

The Houston shop’s six billboards for the local homebuilder were designed to acquaint prospective buyers with the client’s SmartDifferences program. From ergonomically raised dishwashers to keyless entry systems, there are more than 50 SmartDifferences options that come standard with every Trendmaker Home, the agency said.

Launched earlier this month, the outdoor series includes giant 3-D versions of a backpack rack, laundry chute, garage workbench and surge protector—all SmartDifferences choices. The boards will rotate through the end of September, the shop said.

“It’s pretty well established that Trendmaker offers beautiful floor plans,” said Stan and Lou president Lou Congelio. “But we felt that these small but innovative touches were a major point of difference between Trendmaker and other homebuilders.”

The Trendmaker effort also includes print work and regional TV spots. The print campaign broke in spring issues of Homeline, Southern Living, The Houstonian, Here Is Houston and the Greater Houston Homebuyer’s Guide. Network TV launched earlier this month on NBC and CBS news programming.

Stan and Lou has held the Trendmaker account for 10 years. The media budget is undisclosed.
