Some dream of big accounts, while others just wonder. Sony Wonder, that is.
The family entertainment division of Sony Music has begun interviewing undisclosed agencies regarding its estimated $2 million account, according to a source at the client, who declined further comment. New York-based Sony Wonder, with marketing offices in West Los Angeles, licenses and distributes children’s videos.
JSM+ Communications (formerly Hajjar and Partners) in Marina del Rey, Calif., resigned the account earlier this month.
“Based on a new compensation structure that was imposed, financially we could not continue the relationship,” said Jim Sieminski, JSM+ executive vice president, account services. While we’re extremely proud of the work that we’ve created and its contribution to Sony Wonder’s growth, it is time to move on.”
The agency had handled the account since July 1996.
