CHICAGO – National Presto Industries served SFM Media an appetizer late last year when it awarded the buying service media duties on its SaladShooter product. Now SFM has been given the main course. Two weeks ago, National Presto quietly moved the remainder of its anticipated $12-15-million media business to New York-based SFM from Bozell/Minneapolis.
The assignment involves planning and buying for products such as the company’s Tater Twister, Fry Daddy and Deep Fryer. ‘We felt for the type of media and dayparts we use, SFM was in a better position to handle our media,’ said Steve Kjarsgaard, National Presto’s advertising manager.
