SAN FRANCISCO The Hive Advertising said it has taken on creative chores for Salmon Bay Events of Seattle, the agency’s third account win in three months.

The San Francisco independent landed the estimated $1 million business without a review after Salmon Bay’s founder and chairman, Duane Kelly, saw the Hive present a pro bono campaign for the San Francisco Botanical Garden, for which Kelly serves as a trustee.

“I was impressed by the quality of strategic thinking and creativity I saw in the Hive’s work, and the rest, as they say, is history,” Kelly said.
