CANNES A creative duo from Saatchi & Saatchi in France took home top prize at the Young Creatives Competition here today for an effort that promoted the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece.

Copywriter Alban Penicaut and art director Stephane Lecoq, both of the Publicis Groupe shop, created a print ad that featured a perspiring Greek statue. Copy read, “Olympic Games are back.”

“This was the most simple, direct way,” said Penicaut. “They wanted us to avoid stereotypes and cliches.
