Ryan Partnership Enlists Maher

BOSTON Ryan Partnership said it has hired Michael Maher as evp and director of client services for its direct marketing and interactive divisions, a new position.

Maher, 48, joins the Wilton, Conn.-based promotions and marketing company from Modem Media in Norwalk, Conn., where he was svp, director of marketing strategy, overseeing work for clients Philips and Wyeth.

“Michael brings more than 20 of experience,” said John Kuendig, president of Ryan’s direct and interactive operations. “His extensive background and expertise in managing relationships with major brands … meet the multidimensional marketing needs of our clients.”

Prior to Modem, Maher worked at Draft in New York as svp and director of digital services.

Ryan Partnership is an independently owned shop employing more than 300 staffers nationwide. Key clients include Energizer, Heineken, Subway and Unilever.
