Seth Solomons, a top executive at digital shop R/GA, has left the agency after 20 months.
Solomons joined R/GA in November 2013 as a managing director in New York and global chief client services officer, and became U.S. president just last month, according to his LinkedIn profile.
An email to Solomons generated an automatic reply that said he was no longer with R/GA and suggested contacting chief growth officer Barry Wacksman, instead. Wacksman, in turn, declined to comment, referring questions to an agency representative, who could not immediately be reached.
An agency spokesman issued a statement to AgencySpy, saying, "We have mutually decided to part ways with Seth Solomons. The R/GA organization wishes him the best of luck in his next endeavor and thanks him for all his contributions."
It was not clear how R/GA planned to redistribute Solomon's responsibilities or whether the agency would seek a new U.S. chief.
Earlier in his career, Solomons was global CEO at CRM365 and global chief marketing officer at Digitas. He also has worked at Wunderman.
Top accounts at R/GA include Nike, Unilever, MasterCard and Verizon.
