NEW YORK Quiznos has hired Trey Hall from Boston Market as its chief marketing officer, effective Tuesday, the company said.

Hall will report to executive vice president Brooksy Smith, who has been overseeing a review for Quiznos’ estimated $25 million ad account since June. Hall succeeds Rob Elliot, who left the company in December 2001. Smith has been handling CMO responsibilities since then.

“He’s done a phenomenal job running marketing for Boston Market and Pizza Hut before that,” Smith said of Hall, who had been CMO at Boston Market, a unit of McDonald’s.
