Nocona Boot Co. of Fort Worth, Texas, named Point Communications here its new agency of record after a review involving Dallas and Fort Worth shops.





The 72-year-old premium cowboy boots manufacturer has assigned a comprehensive 1997-98 campaign to Point Communications, including print advertisements, direct mail, point-of-sale materials and radio commercials.





Billings were undisclosed.





Nocona met with ‘many Metroplex agencies’ about the business before choosing Point Communications, according to the client’s director of advertising, Armando Romero.
