DENTON, TEXAS – Three Dallas area finalists hope to be the agency that keeps on truckin’ with the $2-3-million account for Peterbilt Motors Co., which manufactures the nation’s Cadillac of tractor trucks, sources said last week. Those sources said McKone & Co., Irving, Texas, and Dallas shops Joiner Rowland Serio Koeppel and Larkin, Meeder & Schweidel made Peterbilt’s recent cut. Client and agency executives were unavailable to comment, but sources said a decision is expected by the end of this month. Sources said Peterbilt called the review because the company currently is in the process of moving its headquarters from Newark, Calif. to Denton, Texas. The 22-year incumbent is Pinne/Herbers Advertising Inc., San Francisco.
