BOSTON Oxfam America has hired Corey McPherson Nash to redesign the nonprofit organization’s Web site. CMN, an independent shop in Watertown, Mass., is working on a pro-bono basis.

“The primary objectives of the Web site redesign are to help Oxfam with its public education efforts to increase awareness of the group’s mission, to assist with fundraising goals and build a platform to support the organization’s growing online community,” said CMN representative Kathy Wilson.

The assignment is important for the shop because Web design has long been a core competency at CMN and Oxfam provides the shop with a high-profile showcase, she said.
