The One Club’s awards took place May 14 at the World Financial Center’s Winter Garden. About 500 people attended. The TBWA network picked up the most Pencils—13, five of which were gold—while BBDO and Crispin Porter + Bogusky each took home 12. Adidas’ “Impossible Is Nothing” campaign out of TBWA and 180 picked up seven Pencils, and the German client won The One Show’s second annual Advertiser of the Year award. Best of Show honors went to “Cog,” the Honda spot from Wieden + Kennedy in London. NEC Corp.’s “NEC Ecotonoha Project” Web site won Best of Show at The One Show Interactive awards, held May 12 at Dia in New York.
