Omnicom Forms Crisis Management Firm

NEW YORK — Omnicom has created a new company to serve corporate, legal and government clients around the world who are seeking crisis management and security expertise.SafirRosetti will be led by former New York City police commissioner Howard Safir and Joseph Rosetti, former vice chairman of Kroll Associates and former security director for IBM. Based in New York City, the company will also have offices in Washington, D.C., San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, London and Hong Kong. In a statement, Omnicom president and CEO John Wren described the demand for the company’s services, saying, “Our clients are frequently involved in activities that require high-level business intelligence and security consulting services including marketing promotions and sweepstakes’ authenticity, crisis management and acquisition and litigation support.”
