NEW YORK – Clairol intends to grab a stronger foothold in the women’s hair colorant segment this fall with a $7.5 million television and print ad campaign. The effort will serve to kick off a hair color maintenance system and roll out a line of African American hair color shades that will latch on to the Nice ‘n Easy brand’s $15 million ad campaign. The ColorHold Colorcare System, targeted to women 25-49 years old, will include a 9-ounce shampoo and conditioner and a 4-ounce color refresher conditioner.
