Hands Ink Advertising in Las Vegas hired Debra Sandoval as studio manager. Sandoval previously served as president/owner of Incredible Ideas. Hands Ink also hired designer Christopher Smith and media associate Angela Suganuma.

Creative Dynamics in Las Vegas added Michelle Georgilas as assistant graphic designer for its design and interactive studio.


Premier Retail Networks in San Francisco hired Kristine Schiller as svp, advertising sales. She will oversee sales across the entertainment division, to film and TV studios, record labels and videogame producers. She was most recently vp of sales for Studio One Networks.

360 Group in San Rafael appointed Thomas Porcella media planner and Dan Henry senior copywriter.


JohnsonSheen Advertising in Portland added Jo Marie as production manager. She was previously print production manager at Wieden + Kennedy in Portland, working with such clients as Nike, Microsoft, Coca-Cola, Miller Brewing and ESPN.


Adrian van Hooydonk was promoted to president of Designworks/USA in Newbury Park. He is charged with the day-to-day operation and direction of the studio, which is a member of the BMW Group.

Kristine Wendt was promoted from account supervisor to vp, account supervisor at Campbell-Ewald’s CE Retail field office in Los Angeles.

Lawrence, Mayo & Ponder in Newport Beach hired Kerry Wurzelbacher as director of business development. The shop also added Eileen Soriano as an account coordinator on the new-business team.

San Diego-based Mires, a brand consulting and strategic design firm, added Tom Carroll as marketing director.

Santa Monica broadcast design and production studio Belief hired Erin Davis as director of business development and Greg Stacy as executive producer.

Judy Jablonski, publisher of LA Weekly and OC Weekly, is leaving to start her own consulting/media company, and will have those two papers as her first clients. Also, Jim Kaplan was named classified ad director of LA Weekly and OC Weekly. He previously held the same title at the Metro in San Jose.

Green Light Worldwide Media hired Tom Ansel as vp/regional sales manager and Gregg Morton as account executive in its new office in Newport Beach.

Kelly Blue Book in Irvine hired Robin Cooper as director of advertising and business development. She is responsible for building an in-house ad sales and business development team with operations in Southern California and Detroit. She had been group publisher-automotive/ women/health for DoubleClick.

The Weston Group in Los Angeles promoted Erika Malek from associate account executive to account executive on the Schuler Homes, Wester Pacific Housing and Lennar Communities accounts.
