director. He was most recently media director at CMG Communications.
BeautyScene.com, New York, has appointed Robert Talbot vice president
of marketing. Most recently, he was director of market strategy at Home Box Office. BeautyScene is an e-commerce site selling skin-care items, color cosmetics, health supplements and other products, as well as providing news and information on beauty and health.
The African Heritage Network, New York, has appointed Jack Bryant president of advertising sales and radio ventures group. He was most recently president of American Urban Radio Networks.
Dynamic Logic, New York, has named Marios Koufaris senior research fellow. Koufaris is an instructor and Ph.D candidate in information systems at New York University’s Stern School of Business.

Hauppauge has hired three staffers. Stephanie Larner has joined as a graphic designer; she is a 1999 graduate of Long Island University, C.W. Post college. Brian Rogers was hired as
a graphic artist; he previously

Poser Printing. Marlene Villota was named controller; she most recently was assistant controller for Jujamcyn
Theaters, a producer and owner of Broadway theaters.
The Arbitron Co., New York, has named Jacqueline Noel to the new position of national manager, network and
syndication radio, advertiser/agency
services. She was most recently advertiser/agency account manager for a Western region territory.
Getko Group, Westbury, has named Diane Ambroziak sales manager. She will manage sales operations for Getko’s
Welcome Wagon new-homeowner program in Michigan, Northern Ohio and Northern Indiana.

The Star Group, Cherry Hill, has named Ed Rooney vice president and management supervisor for the company’s direct-response division, Star Direct. He will manage direct-response initiatives for various clients, such as GMAC Mortgage, Jevic and Valley National Bank.
Most recently, Rooney was at DMW Worldwide, Wayne, Pa.
The Quantum Group, Parsippany, the consumer-healthcare advertising division of CommonHealth, has promoted one staffer and hired two
in account management. Meg Curry
was named senior vice president, management supervisor; she had joined Quantum in 1997 as a vice
president, account group supervisor. Mary-Clare Cullum was named vice
president, account supervisor; she had previously worked at CD&W Graphic Communications. Michelle
Leacock rejoins Quantum as an account executive, after having left the
company earlier this year; she
most recently served as account
supervisor at Rockett Berkhead
and Winslow.

DMW Worldwide, Wayne, has promoted two staffers. Kathy Maylath moved up from account supervisor to senior account supervisor, and Kerry Rogers advanced from marketing
coordinator to account executive.
LevLane, Bala Cynwyd, has hired Tom Jeffrey as a senior copywriter
for the creative department. Most recently, he was a copywriter at the Weightman Group.

Valley has named Erika Krygier account executive, responsible for managing and executing strategic and promotional plans for such clients as
the United Cerebral Palsy Association and the International Dairy Foods
Association, in addition to providing
