W.B. Doner & Co.’s Tampa office promoted Kandi Kirkland to senior vice president, management supervisor. In her new post, she will manage the agency’s Eckerd Drug Co. account. Kirkland joined Doner in 1995 as vice president, account supervisor.
TNT Advertising in Miami selected Armando Colosimo as vice president and full partner, guiding all client account services and new business. Colosimo brings more than 25 years of Hispanic television and radio experience to the $1 million startup shop.
Miami-based Motion Image, a post-production facility formerly known as Bob Kahn & Co. Video and Film, added editor Michael Fernandez. Fernandez was formerly employed by BVI and Univision.
Morgan & Partners in Jacksonville tapped Sharon Martin as director of media services. Martin was formerly media director for crosstown agency Husk Jennings. Her resumƒ includes stints at Earle Palmer Brown (now Yesawich, Pepperdine & Brown) in Tampa and Chaffee-Bedard in Providence, R.I.
Copywriter Kevin McKelvey signed with Match in Atlanta His account experience includes clients Coca-Cola, BellSouth, ESPN and Georgia Pacific, plus Quincy’s Family Steakhouse and Creative Loafing, which are on Match’s roster. Before freelancing in Atlanta, McKelvey served as editor of special issues for The Hollywood Reporter.
Edelman Public Relations Worldwide in Atlanta added Al Larsen as account executive. Larsen, who moved from Cohn & Wolfe in Atlanta, is assigned to Edelman’s Kool Motorsports program and the Daewoo Southeast account.
The Identity Group in Atlanta staffed up with four hires: senior copywriter Pamela Ricciardi, account services representatives Stacie Kimbro and Tanya Kirkwood, and art director Zachary Bird.
Minsoo Pak, previously director of multimedia at Ogilvy & Mather in Atlanta, arrived at Crawford InterMedia as creative director. Crawford also hired Laura Citron–most recently creative director at Atlanta’s Macquarium–to head a production team, art director Will Weyer and designer Karl Wattenburg.
Eisner, Petrou & Associates in Baltimore promoted Marybeth Morsberger to vice president. An employee of EP&A for two years, Morsberger most recently served as account supervisor and is a member of the agency’s senior management committee. She currently provides senior public relations counsel for clients Helix Health and Children’s National Medical Center.
Crosby Marketing Communications tapped Ann O’Malley as account supervisor. O’Malley previously served in the same role at Henry J. Kaufman & Associates in Washington, D.C.
Richard French & Associates in Raleigh welcomed Tracy Bradley as senior account executive; she was formerly with G.S. Schwartz & Co. in New York. The company also promoted Lauren Taylor to vice president of media relations and Hollister Trott to media relations specialist.
Joe Clark advanced to executive producer at Jackson-Dawson Marketing Communications. A 10-year veteran of the Greenville agency, Clark served as senior producer since 1993. In his new post, he will manage two of the agency’s services groups: visual media and meetings/events. JDMC also hired Robyn Jowers as marketing assistant and Karis Lane as account coordinator.
Dave Avery was enlisted as vice president and account supervisor at The Tombras Group in Knoxville. Avery’s 14 years of advertising and marketing experience includes positions with Knoxville-based Burns Mailing & Printing, Sawyer Riley Compton in Atlanta and the advertising agency now known as Bohan, Carden & Cherry in Nashville.
Donna Spurrier founded Spurrier Media Group in Richmond Va. The company was previously part of Duboy Automotive Group and was known as Spurrier & Associates. Spurrier will serve as president of SMG, while Amy Christensen was named partner and Angie Aleksa signed on as senior planner and buyer. Next month the new entity will place retail media for Crestar Financial Services; it will continue to plan media for Duboy.
Thurston Advertising & Photography in Richmond designated Robert Riffe Jr. creative director; he had been president of Rob Riffe Advertising and Graphic Design. The company also appointed David Russell senior art director. Russell came to Thurston from Reynolds Metals Co., where he served as art director.
