Prior to that, Rentz was owner and principal of Elaine Rentz Design and senior art director at Dickinson & Co., both in Westport.
Sandra Hamer, president of Hamer Associates in Farmington, has been appointed to a three-year term on the Universal Accreditation Board of the Public Relations Society of America. Hamer also serves as chair of the Accreditation Committee for the Connecticut Valley Chapter of the PRSA.
