Smith, who joined the shop last year as traffic manager, will work with AlliedSignal consumer brands and other accounts. Sara-Beth Kozlowski has been advanced to media planner and buyer. Kozlowski will oversee schedules and purchase space for clients such as Crane & Co. and St. Vincent’s Hospital.
Trade Dimensions in Wilton has hired Robert Burkhardt as manager of business development, retail database operations.
Arnold Communications in Boston has promoted Phyllis Maguire to senior vice president, group media director. She will manage a local staff of 25 and the buying teams in six regional offices. Maguire had been vice president, group media director. John Geary has been advanced to vice president, associate media director. He will oversee media research, database management and Internet buying and planning chores.
William Mahoney has joined Inside Out Communications in Holliston as director of its Web department. Mahoney previously ran a consulting firm that designs and manages sites for retail, technology and nonprofit clients.
Concord-based Toth Brand Imaging has hired Greg German as an art director. He had run his own graphic design business and freelanced for Donna Karan and Houghton Mifflin. Roula Gallis has joined as a designer.
