Entergy Corp. has zapped its “Don’t monkey around power lines” safety campaign after 12 years in favor of a new series that launches today.
Each of Logan Marketing’s three 30-second television spots ends with an electrical crackle as an unwitting customer connects with a high-voltage line. The segments address safety concerns after a storm, during construction and around the home.
The “Don’t touch that” tagline was penned by agency creative director Sid Berger, and Morrison Productions shot the ads in 35mm film to create a “music video” feel.
