DETROIT – Robert McClowery was named executive management director of J. Walter Thompson’s Regional Advertising Group, replacing Hugh Trencampe. JWT’s RAG group, as it is known, primarily serves Ford dealer associations across the country, but the agency tries to leverage them for other clients as well, and encourages them to go after local accounts. McLowery was management director for all JWT’s Ford dealer accounts.
