Mattel Promotes Rosales

Sara Rosales has progressed to vice president, communications, Mattel Brands. In her new role, Rosales will handle all domestic communications activities for the company, including overall brand-building programs, public relations initiatives, and branded integration and product placement opportunities. Rosales, who joined El Segundo, Calif.-based Mattel in 1996, was most recently vp, national promotions and strategic global partnerships. In that position, she oversaw the development of youth- and family-oriented national promotions for Mattel brands including Barbie and Hot Wheels. Prior to joining Mattel, Rosales worked for several public relations agencies in the Los Angeles area.
