BOSTON M-Qube said it has raised $8 million in venture backing led by Sigma Partners, along with Investors General Catalyst Partners and Bain Capital Ventures.
All told, the Boston-based company, which provides mobile messaging technology that allows companies to advertise on cell phones, has raised nearly $15 million.
The startup has forged partnerships with several agencies, including Havas’ Arnold in Boston, Cossette Communications in New York and SF Interactive (a unit of Butler, Shine, Stern & Partners in Sausalito, Calif.)
