KSV Appoints Brand Planning Chief

BOSTON Kelliher Samets Volk said it has named Jonathan Leong brand planning director.

Leong, 32, joined the Burlington, Vt., agency last year as a senior brand planner. He has also served at Cliff Freeman and Partners and Ammirati Puris Lintas, both in New York, and Kaiser Associates in Washington, D.C.

“I believe that planning should be responsible for cultivating brands that people think about, instead of gimmicks that folks talk about and quickly forget,” Leong said.

KSV is an independently owned agency that employs about 50 staffers and works on a mix of consumer and business clients. Key accounts include IDX Systems, Rural Cellular and the Vermont Department of Health’s anti-tobacco program.
