Doug Johnston has been appointed executive creative director at KGA Advertising in Middletown, Conn., filling a vacancy created eight months ago.
“I’m an agency builder,” Johnston said. “I help them do the best work possible.” He was formerly creative director at Littlefield Marketing & Advertising in Tulsa, Okla. In five years there, he helped tripled the agency’s billings to $35 million, he said. His goal is to make KGA a “regional power recognized for creative excellence” and enjoy a similar growth rate.
