Kenneth Williams has joined the Health Club Panel Network, the largest provider of advertising in health clubs, as the company’s first chief executive officer, the company announced Tuesday (June 4). He was most recently president and CEO of Ascent Media Group, which provides media content services to film studios, media networks ad agencies and other media creators and distributors.
In his new position, Williams will lead the company’s next growth phase, focusing HCPN’s digital media roll out. Up until Williams joined HCPN as CEO, the company was run by its founders, Gene and Mike Lederer, who remain on HCPN’s board.
“He’s an extremely skilled manager, with significant experience building and growing organizations, who also has a deep background in all the key aspects of digital media, infrastructure development, content creation, distribution and management. This combination makes him a perfect fit for our organization as we seek to grow our existing business while rolling out our in-club digital media offerings,” said Michael Lederer, founder and director of HCPN.
Prior to his Ascent Media Group, Williams spent 18 years with Sony Pictures Entertainment, rising to president of the digital studios division. His career also includes serving as president of Technicolor Digital Cinema, a joint venture between Technicolor and Qualcomm.
