JWT West Unites L.A., S.F. Offices

LOS ANGELES J. Walter Thompson has unveiled a new management structure for the Los Angeles and San Francisco offices, placing them under the JWT West banner.

Brad Fornaciari, who has been president of JWT in Los Angeles, will oversee both offices as president of JWT West. Kevin Burke will continue as president of JWT in San Francisco.

To lead creative for the combined operation, JWT West has hired Mike Mazza as executive creative director. Mazza, 46, had been a group creative director at Publicis Groupe’s Publicis & Hal Riney in San Francisco since 1997, where he worked on the Sprint PCS and Jamba Juice accounts. Mazza will be based in San Francisco.

JWT West will have billings of $125 million and about 105 employees. Its clients include Symantec, 20th Century Fox, Pacific Gas & Electrics and Providian Financial.
