NEW YORK IVillage co-founder and editor-in-chief Nancy Evans has resigned from the company and its board of directors, the online publisher confirmed.

“It’s been a glorious eight years—defying the odds to create a platform of lasting consequence for women, working with the most wonderful colleagues on the planet and serving the millions of women who inspire and delight,” Evans said in a statement. “But boy is it time to move on to do a few more things from what iVillage women call the ‘forever’ projects list.”
