Ingalls Plans On Lee

Jonathan Lee has come a long way since his days as a receptionist in one of Madison Avenue’s top agencies. He has been advanced to vice president and director of account planning at Ingalls in Boston.
Lee was a key player in recent new business wins, including Price Chopper supermarkets and Rural Cellular–and research conducted by his department is expected to factor into Ingalls’ pitch this week for Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Massachusetts.
Lee joined the agency last April as a senior account planner. He took over the department in June following the departure of Carolyn Clark, who left to pursue a career as an independent planning consultant.
Prior to that, Lee spent three years at Chiat/Day in New York, where, legend has it, he worked his way up from receptionist.
