JWT Retains and Grows Sun Business

NEW YORK—San Francisco’s JWT & Tonic has retained creative duties on Sun Microsystems’ U.S. account, and the client plans to expand its relationship with J. Walter Thompson to include ad duties in Europe and Asia, sources said. Sun spends about $100 million globally on advertising. Sun’s decision came after a review that included Leagas Delaney in San Francisco and Fallon in Minneapolis. In the end, the contest was between Fallon and JWT, according to sources.
