Hill, Holliday’s Watchword: Discovery

BOSTON Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos has created a print-based campaign for Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Boston. The work is designed to build awareness of the depth and breadth of services Catholic Charities provides.

“Discover the work of Catholic Charities” is the tagline on ads launching next week in The Boston Globe.

Each ad highlights one of three primary areas of service: helping the poor, assisting children and families and aiding refugees and immigrants. The work uses a subtle stained-glass-window motif.

Hill, Holliday here, a unit of Interpublic Group, handled the effort poo bono. Newbury Creative Communications in Duxbury, Mass., crafted a direct mail component. An improved client Web site is also on tap.

“Many people, including some of our most loyal donors, only know about a few of our services,” said Kevin Broughton, executive director of Catholic Charities, of the impetus for the effort.

Catholic Charities offers approximately 140 programs and services in 40 locations ranging from basic needs emergency services to childcare and parenting programs to services for refugees and immigrants.
