Getting E-Busy In The Big Easy

Logan Marketing is expanding its communications capabilities to become one of the few Crescent City advertising agencies to devote a separate division to e-commerce.
The new eLogan unit in New Orleans is staffed by marriage and business partners Stephanie and Eric Ettinger. The Ettingers have operated their own Internet marketing company locally for the past three years. In that venue, Eric Ettinger designed a Web site for local CBS affiliate WWL-TV. He is currently developing a site for Microsoft.
Agency founder King Logan said the new division goes beyond just hanging brochure pages on the Web.
The in-house unit will develop e-commerce strategies for agency clients as well.
Logan Marketing also kicks off 2000 with a new service that solicits sponsorships for agency clients. To date, the Bike New Orleans family event and Jazzland theme park have authorized Logan to handle sponsorship sales to garner participation in their ad campaigns.
The $15 million shop is also soliciting sponsorships for this year’s $400,000 local United Way campaign.
