Freightliner Hauls 4 Agencies Into Its Final Round

Freightliner Corp., has narrowed its search to four agencies for its $10 million account. They are Bozell, Seattle; Cole & Weber, Portland, Ore., and Seattle; The Richards Group, Dallas; and The Mandala Agency, Bend, Ore.
Freightliner executives will visit each of the contenders this week. Afterward, all or some of the shops will be invited to the Portland-based company’s headquarters for strategic presentations, according to Debi Nicholson, general manager of corporate communications at the client. A decision is expected by the first week of August.
The commercial truck manufacturer’s previous agency, Young & Roehr Group in Portland, resigned the account last month after servicing it for two decades.
